Invitation

Dear Friends and Colleagues,

Juichi Ito, MD, PhD    On behalf of the Organizing Committee it is our great honor and pleasure to invite you to participate in the "XXV Bárány Society Meeting", which will take place in Kyoto, Japan, March 31 - April 3, 2008.
Recent years have seen remarkable progress in the field of vestibular research together with its clinical application. The Bárány Society Meeting provides an opportunity to be exposed to the most up-to-date information and to exchange the latest ideas in the field of vestibular systems.
It is the second time that the Bárány Society Meeting will be held in Kyoto. The society was established for the purpose of bringing together esteemed scientists and professionals in the field of vestibular research and otology, based on the aspiration to provide audiences with the most recent scientific and clinical information.
Kyoto is the former capital of Japan and one of the most attractive cities to visit. Its historical and cultural background makes Kyoto an ideal city to hold the Bárány Society Meeting. In April, the climate will be warm and it is the season for cherry-blossoms, the national flower of Japan. We are planning very attractive social programs to help you enjoy Kyoto, such as the Miyako Odori (spring dance performance) and visits to Zen meditation temples.
We sincerely hope that the Bárány Society Meeting in Kyoto will be enriched by your participation and that you will be able to enjoy this exciting and memorable occasion.
