The Symposium welcomes abstract submission for Oral/Poster presentations on the following topics.

How to Submit

Authors are requested to submit their abstracts prepared in MS Word via Internet.

Instructions for Preparing Abstracts

  1. The on-line system can only accept MS Word documents. Other documents will not be accepted.
  2. Please download the sample abstract below and overwrite on it, following the instructions. Your abstract will be printed as submitted, as a camera-ready manuscript in the Program/Abstract book. The allotted space for the contributed abstract is one page: effective space 16 cm x 22 cm.
  3. When you complete the abstract, save it in the name of the presenting author. "MAC" users are requested to add ".docx" at the end of the file name. e.g. "akiyama.docx"
  4. Click On-line Abstract Submission.
  5. Fill in the columns required on the abstract submission form, including preference of oral/poster presentation and appropriate topic number chosen from the above-mentioned 13 session topics, which best expresses the content of your abstract.
  6. Attach your abstract at the last section of the form.
  7. Confirmation of receipt of abstract will be sent to the presenting author by e-mail.
Abstract Submission Period: January 10 - March 12, 2018

Notification of Acceptance

Notice of acceptance will be e-mailed in late April, 2018. Accepted papers will be presented at Oral or Poster sessions. Abstracts accepted for the presentation will be printed and distributed to all participants during the Symposium.

Poster PanelPoster Presentation

Please prepare your poster according to the following guidelines. The poster will be mounted on a panel of 90 cm (width) x 150 cm (height). Please refer to the illustration.

Title: Use an area of 20-25 cm (height) x 90 cm (width) at the top of the poster for the title, authors' names and affiliations.

Text, Tables and Figures: All material should be visible from a distance of 2 meters. A poster number and pins will be provided by the organizer.
